Difficulty Hearing on the Phone?
Helping people stay connected is one of my favorite things about audiology! However, I have so many patients who report difficulties with phone conversations. Many of them are surprised to learn of a free solution for their phone conversation concerns.
If you have trouble hearing on the phone, due to hearing loss, you may be eligible for a complimentary CaptionCall phone with free captioning service. This powerful amplified telephone allows you to hear and read your phone conversations, so you will not miss a single word.
How CaptionCall Works
- The CaptionCall user hears the caller’s voice over a standard phone line
- The CaptionCall phone sends the caller’s voice to the CaptionCall servicevia internet connection
- A Communications Assistant quickly converts the caller’s words to textusing voice-recognition technology
- Captions are sent to the CaptionCall phone display screen
This service is also available through a mobile app for smart phones and tablets.
Included with this free service is the familiarity of a regular phone, large text captions, speakerphone availability, English and Spanish captions, and customizable ringer and handset volumes.
To get started, all you need is an internet connection and professional certification that you have a hearing loss. I can help you complete the certification once you complete your hearing evaluation with The Riesberg Institute.
I can’t wait to HEAR from you,
